People interested in serving on the South Whitley Parks Board should attend the 6:30 p.m. meeting in town hall this evening.
The town council president appoints four members of the five-member board; two each from both political parties.
The South Whitley Library Board of Trustees appoints the fifth member.
The July 16 issue of the Tribune-News is now on newsstands for single-copy sales.
This week's issue includes the Whitley County 4-H Fair schedule and many small articles detailing the upcoming Pierceton Days Festival (in Pierceton, Kosciusko County), August 1 and 2.
