Mr/Miss Whitley County Scholarship contestants

The Mr. and Miss Whitley County Scholarship program is Friday, July 11, in the Churubusco High School auditorium. There are 17 contestants this year, and three are recent Whitko graduates.
Whitko-area participants are: Jennalin Gebert, daughter of Steve and Carla Gebert of Larwill; Ian Hartman, son of James and Cherie Hartman of South Whitley, and Kayla Alma, daughter of Mike and Nola Alma of South Whitley.
Jennalin is a 10-year 4-H'er and a member of the Richland Ramblers 4-H Club. She is president of the Horse & Pony Club this year.
Ian is a nine-year 4-H member and belongs to the Cleveland Showman 4-H Club. He is active in the Poultry club, too, having held the office of president.
Kayla has been involved with 4-H for five years and is a member of the Richland Ramblers 4-H Club. Her projects include cake decorating, cat, beef, food and horse and pony.
